Consultation update: postponement of this week's consultation events

13 July 2021

Redrow has reluctantly taken the decision to postpone the consultation events scheduled for 6.30-8pm on 13 July 2021 and 12-1.30pm on 14 July 2021.

Over the past few days, many East Hoathly residents have registered their interest in hearing more about Redrow’s proposals and we are keen to ensure that everyone has ample opportunity to contribute to the process. As set out in our original correspondence, Redrow is still in the process of acquiring the site and is keen to engage with the local community as soon as possible.

As residents would expect, the consultation events will be rescheduled to ensure your questions and feedback help to inform the preparation of our reserved matters planning application. We are likely to arrange a combination of virtual and in-person sessions in the near future, subject to public health guidelines.

We would encourage residents to keep an eye on the project website – www.redrowconsults.co.uk/east-hoathly – for the latest news and information about upcoming events. All those who registered their attendance at this week’s sessions, or subscribed to our mailing list, will be contacted with more information once the consultation sessions have been rescheduled.

Whilst we are disappointed to postpone this week’s sessions at late notice, we are pleased that our dialogue with the local community has begun. We look forward to meeting local residents, community groups and other stakeholders as part of our public consultation in the coming weeks.
